Spaniard Aymeric Laporte, player of the Al-Nasr football team, confirmed that the atmosphere in Saudi Arabia is comfortable, noting that he has been living freely with his family since his move to the ranks of Al-Nasr club coming from Manchester City, England
Laporte said in statements to the Spanish media on Wednesday: “Before arriving in Saudi Arabia, my wife and I heard a lot of negative things about women’s freedom there, but as soon as I arrived I discovered the exact opposite: women here enjoy freedom
“All you have to do is come to this country and you will see that it is completely different from what the media says.”
Aymeric Laporte added: “There were contacts with Athletic Bilbao club officials, and the team was close to signing me, but I felt that the time was not appropriate, so I chose to professionalize in the ranks of Al-Nasr Club and move to Saudi Arabia.”
Laporte explained that he will fight with Al-Nasr team in order to play at the highest level, so that he can continue to maintain his place in the Spanish national football team, especially as he aspires to participate in various continental and international tournaments with the Spanish national team.
It is worth noting that Aymeric Laporte was officially in the Spain national team squad, before the Euro qualifiers, where the team will face Georgia and then Cyprus during the month of September
