Alvaro Morata: Proud of the hat-trick,, and I will fulfill my children’s wishes

After scoring his first “hat-trick” with the Spanish national team against Georgia during his country’s overwhelming victory (1-7) in the qualifiers for the European Nations Championship (Euro 2024), the young striker Alvaro Morata received the match ball signed by all his teammates

The Real Madrid striker was only able to score any "hat-trick" in his career once with Chelsea in September 2017 against Stoke City in the Premier League.

When he was a player in the Spain national team under 21 years old, the 30-year-old succeeded in scoring a quadruple “super hat-trick” against Austria in September 2013.

The Atletico Madrid striker said in press statements: “I have scored goals before with the under-21 team, but scoring a hat-trick with the first team is very special, especially in a match that helps us a lot in the qualifiers. I am very happy and proud of this.”

He added: "I will put this ball in the trophy cabinet in the children's room, as they constantly ask me for such things, even though I am happy when they do not take it out of its place in the cupboard. I must thank my colleagues very much, because they helped me."

Morata is going through a wonderful period at the beginning of the new season, as he scored with his team, Atletico Madrid, in 3 La Liga matches so far, before continuing to shine with a “hat-trick” against Georgia with “La Roja.”
